YOU CAN BRING HOPE TO
THOUSANDS OF SYRIAN REFUGEE CHILDREN
Millions of Syrian kids experienced the destruction of their homes and the mass exodus from their homeland. They now face the desolation of refugee camps.
You can do something.
You can help reach these kids in desperate need by giving a gift in the name of Jesus. Reach into a refugee camp by reaching out to your church and your community to raise money. God is doing something in the heart of the middle east. Will you join with Awana and help bring hope?
Here’s the goal: Raise $15,000 by April 1st.
This will provide food boxes and school supplies for refugee children.
As an added bonus, as soon as we raise half our goal, a generous donor will give $7,500 to train leaders who will reach these kids with the gospel! Time is short, but we’re believing God for big things. Let’s go!
How Can You Help?
Coordinate With Your Club
How can you and your club come up with a gift to give? Give up coffee for a week? Babysit a few more hours? Walk someone's dog? Get creative about how you personally can give.
Host a Fundraiser
How can you and your club fundraise in your community? Organize a bake sale or a car wash? Clean houses with your Trek and Journey club? Think outside the box - what can your team do?
Invite Others
How can you invite others to give? Can you and your Trek and Journey club do a presentation to your church? To your missions committee at church? Think about your community and reach!
Reach Out to Your Network
How can you tell your friends and family about the need and invite them to join? Point them to awana.org/refugeekids to learn more and donate!
